ok, so the show must go on. I purchased a 300 gallon tank from Sams in BR and I can finally continue on with my basement project. started electrical and drywall in jan/feb and built the bar/aquarium stand in feb. didn't want to start this journal until I had something nice to show off. I got the tank all cleaned up, 4 new bulkheads installed and leak tested, and most of the plumbing finished. I am using a 125g for the sump. the tank should be up and running this weekend. pretty excited to get my big ray in there. next step will be finishing the rest of the drywall/painting and finishing the bar. more pics to come soon!

hah.. I was at Sams over the weekend and saw that the tank was gone. Nice to see the tank go to someone that will make good use of it!

got the plumbing done and the tank has been up and running since friday morn. got water taps going directly into the 125g sump so no more hauling buckets for me! I built 2 wet/dry trickle towers and have an FX5 which will eventually be the filtration.
I started this tank with a cycled AC110 and 2x cycled sponge filters. will let them run about 6 weeks.
here's a short vid. sorry about the poor lighting, working on a nice canopy and lighting next.

That is going to be incredible looking when you get the lighting on it. Glad you were able to regroup and get this project going again.
