I took advantage of the warmer weather today and made a stand for my wife`s Betta tank! The material was free.... The doors of an old TV stand, and three of the drawer faces from an old bed, as well as, some 2x4`s I had laying around! Well here are the pictures! The sides made out of the drawer faces! A closer look With the top and bottom ( door panels ) rear view! Front view! The tank on! A closer look of the tank!

Very Nice Job Gabe. Always good to use materials you already have for sure. I like the stand style you choose. And tank looks great and nice bright light.

Thank you Glen! That is what the Betta will need too! It is a 8w LED light on it! I will only have some Java Fern, and Anubias barteri var. nana, with a lot of driftwood, in there so light is not much of a factor, it is for the people mainly!!!

Gabe, once again you amaze me. Good job. What's the tank in the background.

That is a 13.5 Gal tall that I'm going to set up for the splitfins you are keeping for me! As soon as I can get the damn hard water line off the glass! What is it with people and only filling the tank 3/4 full? This was my third tank that I found on garage sales and all the watermarks are half to 3/4 of the way up the tank! It is proving to be very hard to get rid off, even razor blade no use!

Strange. Fill the tank up to the brim!

Maybe more work than you would like.... but CLR and a reseal works everytime....that is if rubbing alcohol didn't work first.

I suspect that's a result of no water changes and letting the water evaporate.....

I suspect that's a result of no water changes and letting the water evaporate..... Probably you are right! Still it is going to take forever to clean it!
