Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. Where did you order it from ? I order it from Big Al's USA , shipping it to Detroit and picking it up at Detroit Mailbox. They're having a big sale on Eheim filters.

Your going to put 2 2215`s on one 55G ? Yeah... looking to get full filtration throughout the tank and avoid any sort of dead zone in the tank..Setup will be 1 intake in each corner with the outlet spray bars on opposite corner which will give me full tank circulation... i'll be filtering about 300 gallons per hour, which will then keep the water clean and thus the fish really healthy.

Hey Andre , good luck with your new filters. I use a similar mail box. I use "My Detroit Address" located on Gratiot near the ball park.

Let me know how the suction is on those bad boys, I recently purchased a 2213 and I am curious if it is just the smaller model that has problems with the flow. It is always a bugger to get it up and running without mouth syphoning from one end haha. I tried using a funnel to prep the canister full of water but I still have to help it get started. Let me know!

So for anyone who has an Eheim, watch this video about how to prime them. I had been foolishly trying to fight gravity... should have just done what this guy did and used physics to get it started. Hope it helps! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdbeXIqySOU

This past Saturday I was able to install one of the filters. (Will wait 2 weeks and allow bacteria to develop before removing the HOB) I was impressed with the ease of putting everything together and after taking my time I had everything ready to go in about an hour. The tricky part of the installation was the spray bar. The hard plastic pipe to go over the edge of the tank does not work well with lid style aquariums. So I had to improvise a little and was able to get everything setup. Overall I'm very happy with this filter, the flow coming from the spray bar is enough to get good flow through the tank but not enough to blow the fish around. Here are a few pics

Hope it helps! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdbeXIqySOUI tried this method last night after i noticed a small leak with the inlet tube at the bottom. Tightened everything up and it's all good now.. no more leaks. here's the video

Well after a month I just wanted to report back with some thoughts. I absolutely love these filters!!! Can't say enough of how well they perform and how clean the water has been since I've hooked both filters. The flow is moving water all over in the tank, there's no dead zone and most importantly the fish are not being blown around the tank. I purchased some filter bags for the media In the canisters and cleaning them was a really easy job. I added some extra filter floss since I had extra room in the canister and that has helped even more with the clarity of the water. The quick connects are such a great feature to use. If you close the them correctly and keep your inlet tube full of water when you reconnect the canister after a cleaning it's already pre-primed for you. Turn the valves and presto the canister is filling back up and ready to be plugged in again. I highly recommend this canister if anyone is on the fence about getting one. Here's a couple pictures regarding the clarity of the water Looking through 4ft of water Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is very good customer service, a lot of companies wouldn't have done that
