That's going to look Real nice in my basement fish room He`s another one talking like he has some say don`t loose any sleep Saturday night. Not at all, I'll be dreaming of all the new fish I'll be placing in my new tank. One would say I'd be "sleeping with the fishies". Bad joke and Pun intended.

Just imagine the amount of dwarf cichlids that could fit in that bad boy. LOL I would be the Southern Ontario breeder of dwarf chiclids

I thought I posted a thank you in presidents message yesterday, but being a forum redneck I think I messed something up. In case it is on there and I don't see it I apologize. So, the meeting is over and the trash talking has finished and in my garage like a sleeping giant sits a 125 gallon aquarium and accesories. Speaking with Les this aquarium has made a complete lap of the county and has been returned safe and sound to Kingsville from where it started. I feel as if my dad reached between the desk and wall Christmas morning and pulled out a "Red Rider BB Gun" that was the only thing on my Christmas list, but every one said I couldn't have because I would shoot my eye out. (reference to A Christmas Story movie. You should watch). I have been waiting 2 weeks to attend the meeting yesterday, not just for the large raffle prize, but to meet people who I can talk aquartiumnese to and they don't roll their eyes or have that blank nod like they get it when they don't. My fear was I would walk into a room and the group would be ten guys talking in a circle and every now and then look over their shoulder at me, then turn back and keep talking, boy did I miss the mark on that one. I had so many members come up to me the first five minutes I walked in and introduce themselves that I may have forgot a name or two, sorry. Turns out I worked with Ryan our president a few years ago and still work with his mom and brother, Mike is from Kingsville and also married to a former co-worker. Les who did not know me from Adam, and my first meeting and only knowing of this society for 2 weeks delivered the aquarium to my house in Kingsville.(and he wouldn't take a nickel for gas money). I can see why this club has 30 members attend monthly meetings and it is growing unlike so many other clubs. Sometimes we take good things for granted, and as an outsider walking into this club, you have a good thing here and every one of you should be proud of it. You should also let your executive know how much you appreciate them, the time they give to enhance every one here over their personal benefit is unreplaceable. Lastly I do appreciate as much as some probablly wanted to, not thowing your coffees at me as my ticket was pulled for the aquarium(after Ryan's ticket and he chose the aquarium with the WAS emblem). 29days 15hrs 37min till next meeting!!!!!

Those are some amazing words my friend, Me Ryan and Les run this club because we love the hobby, we love the meetings and we love meeting up with all of the other hobbyist on a monthly basis who like you said can understand what were are talking about and relate. I quite pleased to see you had a great time and Welcome to the Windsor Aquarium Society.

Curtis , so glad you enjoyed your first meeting and felt welcome in doing so. We always try to great everyone at all meetings but I must confess that I do miss some as it can get a little hectic at times. There are times when I'm driving home after a meeting and think to myself " what just happened" . Glad the 125 found a new home and am looking forward to seeing pictures of it when you get it running. It was my pleasure delivering it to your house. The look on your wife and son's face made it all worth while.

Congratulation Cutis. You bought your winning ticket just ahead of me. So close. But really, I was happy to see a guy who really appreciates the tank win. I'm new also (first meeting) so I don't know exactly what the club has to offer but so far very pleased with the friendly members. Also got some great angels and endlers. I will definitly join. Have fun working on your tank.
