Out of curiosity why did you want white? Was it for looks or would it of served a different purpose? When Discus larvae become free swimming Discus fry they need to find the parents to feed off the slime coat, this is very important or the fry will die in a short period of time. The fry is attracted to dark colors, the parents will darken up to attract the fry, whatever the fry can find that's dark they will feed off of, once they feed off something that becomes their host. If they find a grey sponge or black caulking first they will become infatuated with it as it is their host and won't try to find anything else (thus the fry will pass away), for some reason the baby fry can't determine whether or not they are getting the right nutritional substance or not. If the caulking is a light color they won't be attracted to it and will be easier to attach to the parents. Thank you. I learn so much from you guys. I love the passion for your fish.

I could not agree more.

Awww guys we try.... We sometimes fail, we try 100% everyday, with everything... Because that's all you can do is 100%. If anyone wants to learn to keep these awesome fish its pretty easy, breeding is another level, to say the least.
