The background color really makes the fish stick out. Nicely done.

Looks good, I like the power head and the hose idea, that will drain a tank in a hurry

The pump i picked up during Christmas when amazon was having a sale. It's an Eheim Compact 600. Small pump and it's what i wanted. Will work for all my tanks. The hose i picked up at Canada Salvage, it was cheaper to buy a hose rather than the clear tubing. I waited on Princess Auto for about a month and they had no idea when they were going to get any.
The pump drains directly into my sump so no more carrying buckets.

I need something like this . Might have to copy what your doing . I'm still mainly a bucket man although I use a python to fill my rain barrel I use to age some water . Tried using the python to drain tanks but found it wasted to much water .

Tried using the python to drain tanks but found it wasted to much water . that is what i have found as well..waste a ton of water and it's way too slow to drain the tank when you turn the water off. I timed it once and it took 45 minutes to drain 30 gallons of water. Haven't tried this system yet but did a test run and it drained a 3 gallon pain in about 5 secs so definitely looking forward to using it.

So I put in a few more hrs this night and got the next 55g up and running Moved the lemon jake group into temp holding tanks and have the filters from the 29g running on the 55g Let the water run for 24hrs and check the temps and make sure all is good and I'll move them over Filling the tank All finished
