I am curious do any of you keep cardinal tetra's ? Do any of you keep them in there natural water conditions or have them living in tap water ? Do any of you use dark water extract ? Has anybody bred them or can give me tips of how to get them to spawn ? Sorry for the questions but I really want to learn more.

I think Glen ( Guppyguy ) kept and bred cardinal tetras, or maybe it was neon tetras. I am not sure!

The eggs are light sensitive. Spawning them is the easy part.

As Lisa said, the tank has to be blacked out since the eggs need complete darkness.
