Ok so I think I have gotten the plant to flower (hopefully). It has sent a runner to the edge of the pot. I have been growing it emersed for about 8 months now (3 of those months I thought it was dead, had no leaves and then just sprouted). Growing it in dirt basicly (potting soil), I fertilize with concentrated iron solution about 4 or 5 mL every month and a multi nutrient solution at the same time. Sits under an 18" T5 bulb 12" away , in 3" of water heated to 80 degrees. The tank is almost completely covered (glass/ saran wrap) the plastic wrap goes over the light housing to eliminate refraction of light through the plastic wrap.

Thanks, the talk last year by the Plant Guy from Toronto really got me interested in trying something new. So I set up a tall tank and put the 4 plants in pots then hoped for the best. I only had 2 plants survive and this is the one that took off and flowered for me but the second plant is growing now. It's much slower but should grow quicker soon.
