So back around the 24th of April I was working in the fishroom and noticed a couple cpd's "celestial pearl danio" females all nice and plump! So I added a heater to the tank to bring the temp up to 77-78 from 72-74 did a small water change and set up the breeder box this time I tried something different the next day I put a female and male in the breeder with the egg trap and small spawning mop.. last time I used a 10 gal... well on the 28th I removed the fish and gently shook the mop and watched it rain eggs!! These are dated pics up till tonight! April 28th April 30th first hatched! May 2nd almost all 25 or so have hatched!not free swimming yet.. couple more days! I will update as things go and when they become free swimming I'll get more pic's.

Nice going Steve . A tank full of these would look amazing and even better if they all came from this pair.

Nice going Steve . A tank full of these would look amazing and even better if they all came from this pair. Once these fry are all free swimming I'm transferring them to a tank I'm going to round up a couple pairs for the big box and put another pair in the medium box at around 20-30 fry per pair I'll have over a hundred fry in no time!! At least that's the plan

Great thread Steve! Congrats on the fry, again! I hope one day I can get mine to spawn. Well they need to grow up thought. LOL Do you have any green water for those guys, or you just going to try the good old hard boiled egg yolk?
