I have a breeding pair of Kribs in their own tank and I was wondering if I am supposed to remove the parents when the babies are very young. I noticed that we had approx 40 babies at the beginning and couple days later half are gone making me wondering if they are eating them.

I have had young pairs eat their baby but after a couple tries they get the hang od it. Also i find that having another kind of fish in the tank to give the parents something to protect the babies from helps too. I normally dont have to take the separtate untill the parents show signs of wanting to breed again
