Hello
Just wondering if anyone is running a battery backup on their tank setup? Any recommendations, seems we have a fair amount of power glitches and would prefer to keep my tank running for a time if needed. Thanks

Unless you are losing power on a regular bases in excess of 4-6hrs i wouldn't even consider going down that route.. your tanks can handle being without power for some time as temperature in tanks will drop but very minimal during a brief outage.. just my 2 cents

These power stations would be great for power outages. You could set it up indoors right beside your fish tank and plug everything you need right into the power station. The nice thing is that you can recharge the power station from a 12 volt connection in your car, 120 volt house outlet or you can hook a solar panel directly to the power station for recharging. No worries about gasoline, oil or carbon monoxide. Prices seem to be in the range of $1 per watt, so a 1000 watt power station is selling for $1000 Attachments:
