I was wondering what everyone does when they get new coral. Curious to see how different everyone's processes are to acclimating them, placing them, etc.
Especially curious as to how you add a coral to a live rock that cannot be removed from the tank without destroying the scape.

I Like to dip mine in coralrx then rinse in water from my dt then into the dt as for how to get on a non removable rock apply crazyglue gel to coral plug or base of coral if no plug and stick it on rock and kinda twist it a bit to get the gel to grab hold, hold for a few seconds and it will adhere

I know its wrong but I acclimate for 20 mins and then place in the tank! Softies and Zoas I just fire in. Paoul does it right!! i just dont have the time

I do a similar dip as Paoul, but with different dip! Also I use the gel crazy glue as well!

great to know! do you guys just buy any non-toxic crazy glue gel from the dollar store or hardware store or is there a specific one?

I bought one from a Reef Store justr becasue I was not sure if it was safe. I would think you have to buy one that is reef safe but I have no knowledge in the topic

All Crazy glue are safe! I used them from dollar store and from other places! I also use them on myself! It is hard to remove from your finger if you miss the frag! lol
