Maybe just take it to a glass cutter and have them trim it for you. Would be cheaper than buying another glass hood.

I looked last night and to be honest it all junk, also everything would be to small for the size your looking for. best of luck finding everything

Try the perfecto glass top. It is a little smaller that the aqueon. It is the same as the Hagen one. You just need to find a local shop that has one from perfecto. Look for a blue box and not the white one from Aqueon. Good luck. I know I have both in stock.

My one tank ive got a piece of glass as it never came with a hood and it works just fine. Depends how often you have to go into it I guess.

With my 30g I went to a local glass shop and purchased a piece of Lexan Plexi-glass. It cost around $50 but it is extremely thick and hasn't warped or discoloured under my lights. I was easy to cut and customize. I used a dremel to cut out portions for my filter, heater, etc. This might be easier than working and customizing glass.
