the parents are doing such a great job with the wigglers, they are constantly scooping them up and putting them back on top of the UV sterilizer. I am preparing one of my smaller tanks to move them to but I am so tempted to leave them with mom and dad.Unfortunately they spawned in a tank with 6 discus and I am worried about when they become free swimmers.

Great news. Its so cool when they become free swimming. Yes if you want to keep the fry I think they would do much better in a small bare bottom tank, easer to feed and to do extra water changes

thanks guys, yesterday I prepared my two ten gallons with sponge filters that I leave running in case they are needed. I turkey basted the angel wigglers off of the sterilizer and put them in the tank. There were way more than I expected as mom and dad moved them to the other side of the sterilizer as well! I added an anti fungal to the water, stuck the wigglers to an upside down flower pot and set the temp at 80F. I also prepared the other tank and put a bunch of bolivian ram free swimmers in there. My bolivian rams spawn every week so I usually don't bother keeping too many fry, but its been a while I also set up my new 40 gallon and am also leaving it barebottom so I can grow out the angel fry. I am seriously thinking of switching all my tanks to angels and discus.....but I will have to have a long think about it first I still love those little apistos.
