So I had perfect chocolate brown shrimp with light brown strip down it back appear in my cherry shrimp tank. It literally in the flesh looks like a piece of chocolate with legs. lol Any seen anything like this before ? Attachments:

That my friend is the wild color of cherry shrimps. If they are mixed in with the red ones, your whole colony will turn eventually. That is why so important to bring in new blood into a colony, however if the new blood is already "tainted" sort of speak, then culling is the way to go. I would just keep them in a separate tank.

Thanks Gabe. It is the only one in there. I will simply cull it out. All others are nice red. I just got another entire colony of cherry reds from J when he came back from Halifax kept in separate tank. So I can mix in some new blood. The misfit is going to my cull tank.
