Noticed alot of people in the club have bettas, do you house them alone or with other fish? if so what are their tank mates?

I have 4 Betta's, all housed in community tanks. A male crown tale in a 10 gallon with danios, corydoras and a dwarf frog. A Male Dragonscale in a 10 gallon shrimp tank with a bumblebee goby. Lastly, a male and female in a 55 gallon tank with GBR's, neons, kuhli loaches, corydoras, SAE's, Plecos and bumblebee gobies ( give or take a fish ). I have never had issue with any of them being housed in community tanks, the male and female in the 55g could care less about each other.

I too have my Bettas with other fish. My female is in with white cloud mountain minnows, starlight plecos, red tiger Endlers, red tiger plays, pigmy corys, super red bristlenose, and cherry, as well as, Amano shrimps. My male is with Amanos shrimps, and a red marble plecos.

same here! they seem so incredibly bored when they're alone. I keep mine with amano, RCS, and kuhli loaches. You should avoid some pairings though. Barbs nip longfinned, slow fish, and some more aggressive fish like gouramis and angels could cause a problem. likewise, bettas will destroy fancy guppies because they appear similar to small bettas.

If you go with danios, make sure you've got a well-planted tank. I kept Glowlight danios with a betta years ago, lots of plants, but they tend to occupy the same level (upper) of the tank, and it annoyed the betta. Poor guy was huffing and puffing constantly, and I had to move him.

Got a group of 4 juvenile Betta.macrostoma in my 75 gallon pleco growout tank with some dwarf neon rainbow fish and Cochu's (silver tip) blue tetras.
In the past, I kept 4 super red HMPKs (1 male to 3 females) in a planted 46 gallon bowfront with 12 dwarf sparkling gouramis (Trichopsis.pumila) and 4 otocinclus.
