Hello all . I am new to this forum. I had an aquarium years ago before I had kids.My kids are all grown now thought I would get back into it again loved it before.I am also trying to get my kids into it.As I loved it thought they would as well.I currently have a 36 gallon bow front and about 20 cichlid that friends gave to me to get my back into it.great friends but a few to many fish for now. However they are all fry about 1inch.So for now all is well.I will weed them out as they get bigger to the ones that I find I like.In the future I plan on getting a 120 gallon.I do wood working on the side ,in the garage so I will make my own stands and cabinets. The fish I belive that I have are 3 yellow labs 1 male 2 females,2 mpangas 1m 1f,2acei 1m 1f,2 sunshine peacocks 1m 1f,2 bicolor,2red shoulder.6 black skirt tetras.and few cichlid that I am not sure what they are.I thought red zebras.I posted a pic to see if someone could id it.I cycled the tank which took about 2 months.woow that took long.anyways Glad to meet you all and hope to get and give some advice in the future. Sorry now for the grammer and spelling mistakes. What do you want form a frenchmen lol.

Welcome aboard.. I am also a fan of cichlids.. They have fascinating behaviours, many unique to each breed.. I love how there colours dramatically change when they get older or excited..
If you have questions, just ask, somebody should know the answer or have suggestions..

Welcome to the forum. Being the largest group of fishes, cichlids tend to make their way into most people's tanks... including mine.

Thanks Guys. My second tank is a 72gallon oceanic bow front Nat Geo led lights. Love it. Lots of cichlids and all of my cichlid females are now holding. Soon I will have to many LOL. Colours are all coming out on mature cichlids just beautiful. Time to start selling some or trading for type I don't have.
