Purple Cabomba (Cabomba pulcherrima)

Purple Cabomba is a hardy plant that loved for its pretty purple hues. Cabomba has the ability to thrive in a wide variety of water conditions. The fast growth of Cabomba also helps keep nutrient levels and possible algae blooms under control. Cabomba reproduces via cuttings. This lush plant will make a great backdrop in your aquarium. Several bunches are recommended for initial plantings, with individual plants being grouped closely. A easy plant to grow needing medium to high light.

You know, I had Cambomba in a tank as a kid, and due to poor lighting, insufficient nutrients etc, it dropped all of its needles and made such a mess...I could use a little filler in my tank though! If anyone has some for sale, I'd be interested in buying a bunch

Ruffins has purple cabomba but so do some of the club members. Its out and has been sold at our club auctions a few times.

Great lush plant for fry to hid among. I've always liked cabomba.
