Well today I got another species of aquatic plant to flower. I brought the Blyxa Japonica to flower. Now this plant done very well for me since I first received it and multiplied many times. When plants do this well it likely means there very happy with there set up and bound to flower. Bylxa put out small very bright flowers that just break the surface. To accomplish this I had to let the Blyxa grow very large to the point where it filled a ten gallon in both width and height. Also needed high light C02 and regular fert dosing. But getting a plant to to flower is always rewarding and great accomplishment in the home aquarium.
