Hi there all, I'm Stan from the Netherlands. I'm an aquarist for over 40 years by now and hope to continue for many years more... Have kept several kinds of fish throughout the years. From goldfish to cichlids... you name it! But I've always been in love with livebearers and specifically wildforms. And a special focus on wildguppies... About 9 years ago I've started keeping and breeding endlers and have specialized myself within this field. When I had to take it a bit slow in 2011 because of severe health issues, I finally had time to set up my own website regarding livebearers. Furthermore, I'm participating several vivaristic events in Holland, Belgium and Germany as an exposant, juror and advisor. I also give lectures and workshops from time to time within the vivaristic field. Currently, I have 67 tanks actively running (60 inside and 7 outdoors). Hope to have some nice interaction overhere... Take care, Stan

Thanks! Well, I still have to do some updating on my website. Not all of my fish are described overthere yet. Got some time left now to do stuff like that. I'm sabbatical from work at this point. Suffered from a stroke on August 8th. And so, I have to stay home and take my rest for the time being... and enjoying my fish overhere!
Have a great day, Stan

Thanks both...
Even though I've lived in Canada myself, I do have to admit that I've never heard of that phrase, Lisa... But it's funny!

Well, I am aware of most updates on this topic. I've got a network within this field that keep me posted as well.
But I do have to say that I don't have to have all of the strains available. Wether they're pure or hybrid strains. There are for sure certain strains which I really don't like to have because of their appearance. It's a matter of personal preference...
I just spoke to another endler fanatic on the Fb chat and he asked me if I was interested in his rio oro wildguppies (so, no endlers). I declined! Simply because the rio oro wildguppy has certain similar pattern like my el tigre endlers. Caus' I also have wildguppies and wildtype guppies overhere. But if a strain looks a bit too similar to another, I don't wanna add them to my collection.

Thanks both... Even though I've lived in Canada myself, I do have to admit that I've never heard of that phrase, Lisa... But it's funny! That's probably because I come from a large Dutch background here. My parents are both from Holland. I went to school with a lot of Dutch background kids. It's common here.

So, you're from dutch descend? I've met up with lots of dutch people overthere who have been settled ever since the '50, '60 and '70's. It's a kind of funny when you hear them speak dutch with this northern-american slang.
So, where are you located? I myself used to live in Oakville, Ontario.
