Congrats on all the happening Mike! Those plecos are more than large enough!!! Mine were 2" when they "try" to breed! Never happened until the other week! Good to know you are able to keep an eye on them! Mine are so shy the first sign of me and they are gone! I think that is why the male kept kicking the eggs out before, and with so many shrimps in there I had no chance of getting there in time to save them! How many eggs did you get from the plecos? And the fish mill continues!!!

Just be careful so the male won't kick out the fry!

Even though you have decades of experience in the hobby, it's refreshing to read your posts as they reveal your excitement as if each tank and spawning is your first. Keep up with the threads @gtomike Well said , I couldn't agree more .

Definitely a lot of fertilizer from them, however they are just too cool! Lol, mine are living in/on and around my sponge filter, and that makes spot cleaning a lot easier!

"Criky she is gorgeous", C1 for sure! Yup my first C1 Pleco`s just remember if this C1 stuff catches on I thought of it first when I get baby L333 they will be labeled F2-C1`s that should be funny at the auction when they try to figure that one out. Could also go with CC captive bred in Canada which would really be a good idea. There is a standard for this already. F1. F1 stands for first filial generation. They do not have to come from the wild like some people think. Just FYI.

Just took this pic of the 2nd spawning this looks like twice as many as the first spawning. There are 31 in this pic and that is just one side of the cave there`s more in and around the cave plus the ones on the bottom on other side. Looks like you have a ton of new guys to feed mike, good thing you got the extra pleco pellets this weekend haha. Great to see so many young ones, hopefully we see some yellow and black ones soon!
