Trying to clean up the display, fragging and general clean up....went from 8-10 nice branch colony of blueberry acro, to 4.......to 1!!!!!! Rather than watching impatiently for the 1 stick to become something resembling a colony, I epoxied it back together. So, either I fixed it, or killed it all. Ugh.
Though I did see my pom pom crab for the first time in 6 months. Bonus

Wow, sorry to hear that! And how the heck did you spot the Pom Pom crab, the ones I had were very tiny!!!!

My pom pom is about an inch, or close to it. I think I have seen him 3 times in 3 years. Literally. He's cute, but doesn't provide much entertainment....and he lost his pom poms.
I really hope that epoxying the acro back together doesn't kill the whole thing.

Ouch that is rough, I have broken a few corals while cleaning my tank as well... never fun. Sounds like yours was quite a large accident!

Here's a pic of my epoxies colony. Hope that it at least lives.....

Oh man, I wish you luck with that! I hope it will grow over the epoxy and thrive!

Thanks. I will be happy with it all not dying. In retrospect, maybe I should have left my 1 branch "colony" and started another colony somewhere else. Anyway, so far, so good

Dang, showing some STN at the base of the branches. Might have to break off the healthy bits and start from scratch. That's what I get for cleaning the tank...

Scrubbing the glass did it the first time. Second time, was scrubbing and removing excess anemones. Will have time tomorrow to assess the STN situation - if it's gotten too far, then I guess I will be fragging. Sigh

Just the one stick seems to have lived - from the first pic above. Hope I don't kill it when I remove the dead branches and change the placement...think I am out of the woods though. Coral groweth, and coral dieth away.
