Has anyone kept Panther Crabs, I have been looking at them for weeks now and can't decide how they would do in the 220g tank with the Hujeta Gars. Should I start with one or maybe get 2 while they are available? Are they hard to Keep?

Saw these yesterday , very interesting looking crab. Really don't know anything about them. If you find any information on them and are comfortable adding them to your tank I would get a couple of them. You never know when they will show up again.

Found some info. on the Panther Crabs. They are a true aquatic crab, from South America another said Indonesia? scavengers that eat just about everything, they get 3 to 5 inches round including legs are easy to breed, take a wide variation of temperature and PH and found out how to tell male and female apart. Not sure how to get the link from the web site onto this post.

LOL yes I made to Sam's last night just before he closed and got 2 Panther Crabs. Sam helped me look them over to find a male and female. We will see how this experiment goes, so far so good they are eating and seem at home.

Just makes your fishroom more interesting. Looks like I need to make another trip out to your place.
