One Month of Pearl Weed Growth. Amazing.

So I switched out all my val for pearl weed in my 15 gallon tall tank a month ago and the growth was simply amazing. The entire one half of the tank has filled in. This is exactly one month of growth with before and after pictures. Never seen pearl weed grow so tall before. Of course a trim is happening very soon.

Maybe that's why they call it a "weed" . Amazing growth.

It is a nice looking plant. So thick would make a nice sanctuary for shrimp. Is it planted in the substrate? What are it's light requirements?

This plant likes high light and is a delicate stem plant. It is planted in nutrient rich plant substrate. In this case ADA soil.
