How do the corals look? (I am a visual learner)
Maybe you got a bad batch of salt? I have heard of that happening - tainted with something before it gets to you.

Don't want to add this to your frustrations but for this sole reason is why I don't have any interest in getting into salt water. If it's not one thing it's always another regarding water parameters. Always see posts like this when I look for info regarding salt water tank maintenance.

Always see posts like this when I look for info regarding salt water tank maintenance. That's crazy talk - 6 year established tank with old, used, makeshift equipment and I don't test - no crashes yet. I do test water every few months, or if I see coral acting weird, but that's about it. You should test if you have a clam or want to grow lots of acros, but I have a few SPS with no dosing, feeding, or testing.

Its just a bad luck thing unlike seg i my tank is only 6 months old but have all the best equipment and way over filtered. After mixing a new batch of saltwater i realized the ph in the new batch was also at 6.4 its new ro/di water and a new pail of reef crystals so iam thinking its a bad pale of salt. Def thinking anout upgrading tank size to a bigger tank as well

Dsmdan - your tank will be pimped out and automated once you get it stable, for better coral and less maintenance. I'm just pointing out that low-tech, low-budget, low-attention can work too.
