Tedious yes, but VERY rewarding. I find that the best walls are created with a mix of mosses, and pulsed in a blender for a few seconds. it chops up the moss mixing them and encouraging new growth... The results are sweet with a very natural look. I did one one time with xmas, and weeping moss. I plan to do another one soon with JUST Fissidens fontanus. (Phoenix moss) I think that'll look good too. I like using black mesh also as even when frown in, the coloured mesh still shows here and there. Black is 'less' noticeable.
Cheers.

The ones I have done in the past were years ago... I actually didn't have a decent camera at that time. however when I do my next one, I'll post lots of pics. just trying to find a decent supplier of the phoenix moss. I may just order a couple of portions, and grow it out myself till I have enough... cheaper than ordering 30 portions They also set up better in a "dry start" method w/ a bit on unflavored greek yogurt mixed into it... The same way you use it on driftwood. you have to keep 100% humidity though, and mist very often or the fronds will dry out.
