I've noticed an uprising in vetrimid snails over the past week and their webs are definitely irritating my zoas. I'm reducing feeding to lower free floating particles, i bought about a dozon red legged hermits and next week am getting a copper band butterfly to see if he will eat them. I've read that they will but it seems hit or miss. (I realize the the butterfly will probably decimate those crabs) I hate hermits anyways, but am looking for solutions.
Is there anything I can do above all this to help lower their numbers, I've broken the tubes of ones near my zoas but there is over 150 lbs of rock and coral to try and clean so natural solutions are preferred.
Thank you.
