Those are the ones that were living in my canister filter for like three months before I cleaned the filter! They were far as they could be when I pulled them out! Very resilient species whatever they are! Surprised the one that jumped did not crawl back into the tank by itself!
Very healthy tank and inhabitants! Good job Xander!

It's no secret that I've been neglecting my hobby a bit lately. And while two out of my three tanks look the worse for it... the 20g continues to impress me and remain a strong favourite. My crypts have grown from teensy little tissue cultures into a much more lush forest, with a couple of them sending off some babies of their own. I got fed up with the java moss and pulled it, and a carpet of algae has taken its place, without growing overboard. The cherry barbs are plump, large, content, and breeding almost daily (though never has a fry yet survived...). The kuhlis continue to do their thing, though I seem to come up one short on a head count... one lost, or too many wriggling too quickly to properly count?? The hornwort needs to be halved every several months to keep from choking out the light, but between that and the water changes, there has been no other maintenance in here. And I am content to let it keep on doing its thing.
