I'm sure we've had this conversation in one form or another in the past. If you have the chance do you gravitate to the wild, or wild types or would you rather go for some fancied up version of the fish (angels, guppies etc).
I personally really enjoy working with wild type fish. I am now working with multiple species, but I also give credit those who have spent the time and effort to create some amazing domestic strains and I work with some of those also.
Would love to hear what people are into.

I do enjoy working with wild type fish! I like the smaller body, and vibrant coloration, even if the colour is not perfect!
With that said I also like creating different colour morphs, as well as body types. I usually try to get fish that are not quite where I like them to be, and tweak things a bit! Right now I am working on a red tiger endler with no black in it! Only yellow and red! Currently the red looks a bit orange, but the black is completely out! Also I am working on a pure white flame tail endler! Have one male that almost all white with the flame tail, and I just got 7 fry. They are from virgin light pink scarlet females, so there is no chance of black reappearing! And the final endler strain I am tweaking is the Japanese blue Endlers, which got classified as guppies just recently! I still think of them as Endlers. The strain I have has three tail traits, single, double, and no sword! I only have one male each so not sure which one I'll go with yet!

To me my interests are so wide ranging it's really hard to say . Being a cory nut most keep their wild type characteristics as far as colour goes . The common ones come in different fin types which are " man made " and some come in albino or jet black but for the most part little has changed from their wild state . That being said I like them all . As far as livebearers go I really like the wild type but I have many domestics that I really enjoy also . Same goes with angelfish . So I guess the short answer is I don't really have a preference.
