I guess I will introduce myself first. I have been keeping aquariums for almost 6 years now. Started with a little 10 gallon starter kit, moved on to a larger setup and finally to a fully planted aquarium with co2 injection. Now I am starting to a saltwater tank going as well. I believe this area lacks a good aquarium community

I'm so happy to find other fish hobbiests in my local area!! I just moved here from Hamilton a month ago and have been keeping fish for 28 years. I currently have a 55 gallon setup mimicking the amazon basin. I like to keep my tanks au naturel with live plants and few chemicals. In the past I have managed 3 large fish rooms in retail and have kept everything from Oscars and gar to breeding Tanganyikan and Malawi cichlids and everything inbetween. My passion now is keeping a mini ecosystem that basically runs itself. I have never kept marine aquariums, I find them fascinating but not my cup of tea. I would be very interested in meeting anyone who keeps aquatic plants or breeds characins or rams! Thanks for reading my intro, and I look forward to meeting you all!

Hello 3littlefishes. Welcome to the board. I also keep my tanks all full of live plants. I am a guppy breeder and have many small tanks instead of a few large ones. But all live plants and try to keep natural looks as well. I am recently getting into crypt plants and have just started planting different varieties.
