Yup, that what I was doing as well! Now I just keep plecos in all the tanks, and they take care of the ferts! LOL On a more serious note, Glen are these the ferts from Northen Lights that you use? Just asking since not all ferts have the same concentration at 1/4 tea spoon! The ones I an using came from some big bags I bought last year from one of meeting speakers. Dry ferts last a long time in small planted tanks. Where can you get dry ferts locally? |

The above link! Their six pack has macro and micro nutrients! That is what I use! They are located across Tepermans!

I've been there before but I only went to buy my lights. I haven't looked at anything else. I'll have to check out their fert section later.

They also carry titanium heaters! Got my 200w for $40, it's been a while but even back then it was a good deal!

I bought 2 single T5 high output strips with reflectors for around 50 each can't remember the exact price. Theyre great lights.
