I have cherry shrimp right now but I did not realize how they were graded. I also did not realize there there are so many colors. Is anybody keeping any of these other shrimp besides regular cherry shrimp ? Are the other kinds just a tough as cherry shrimp ? What does everyone think the best shrimp substrate is ? Thank you for posting this.

I keep a few different shrimps.
Amano shrimp Malaya shrimp Wild cherry shrimp Fire red cherry shrimp
Substrate is highly depending what kind of shrimp you are trying to keep. If you want to buffer the water, as for caridina sp. shrimps, Aquasoil of fluvals shrimp substrate is good. If you just want to go with inert substrate Eco-Complete will serve fine!
