Ha ha! I have a far more efficient plan. Lol The days of 300 mason jar w/c daily is a thing of the past. This is definitely not my first rodeo.

I lost a good 50-60% of fry in one day last week. . not sure what exactly happened (i believe airation was too strong... as i turned it up a bit the day before due to them eating more.. needed more filtration turnover ) but havent lost any since. Bettas are so fragile in the first 2 weeks as their labyrinth develops... but i still have roughly 20-30? Guessing.... they're feeding like lil monsters ( microworms, vinegar eels and BBS.. ) hopefully these ones are quite stable now..

Something similar to this... That is so funny! I was going to suggest a system with plastic containers. a small slit at 3/4 of the way up, so at the water changes you can wash out the waste! I did not think of putting them in the gutter thought! I really like this idea, just drill the gutter for a drain into a bucket and way to go!

It is so exiting to have a bunch of fry, and we tend to forget that the fish have so many, because of the high die off rate! Anything out of waco for a bit, and all the hard work is for nothing! At least you saved some of them!
