I am starting up a 35 gallon retangle tank and would like to add an mp10 to it. What specific depth should I go, what specific size and type of aragonite should I add. Also what store carries it in windsor and what is it`s brand name and type name. I am trying to maximize flow for the health of Zoas, Palys and all types of shrooms while not having it blow around. there will be 25-35 lbs of rock scape in there as well.

You know my style.....I use whatever is kicking around, and enough so it looks OK. No scientific approach here!

I agree with Dan! Just go with what you like and make sure the corals open up. They are open, then they are happy. Everyone is so hang up on the depth of the substrate, I run about 2" for over 10 years and never had a major issue. anyone you ask will tell you either 4" or a dusting..... I like how the 1.5" looks and that is what I went with! For flow I would go at least 5 times turnover, but like I said if the zoos are open they are set!

Decided to aim for 4", thanks Gabor. I want to go as deep as I can so that my frags or corals are closer to the light, but feel anything approaching 6 inches is to much and hard to maintain. I like to stir my gravel every few months. I am going with the fine sand at 3 inch and 1 inch of the next available size.
Agreed with the turn over rate as well, because I want to go half way in which you run a refuge 10 x, to sps 70 x the turn over rate. Right now I am running at about 30 x. I will add a H.O.B aqua clear 50 and a nano 245gph powerheads, which will get me where I want to be.

Nice, figured that you will see what will work for you! Everyone is different, no need for one rule for all!

Yes, absolutely, there are many ways to skin a cat. This makes it hard sometimes for a new person to run a salt water tank. But, there are a lot of extremes and multiple sweet spots that one needs to be aware of since it cost so much money, time, trial and error and is such and is such an advanced field of interest that one, almost needs a master or PhD to be successful. Thanks to: forums, stores, sponge bob, finding nemo etc, I feel salt water is going to be one day very popular, because it is. It just needs more people to give it a go and be assured that there is help out there. It might as well be local.

I just bought a Nano Cube 12 G, cheap, and received all the biology I need that set up my 35G. Thanks to Bill.

sold it and kept the water/rocks/gravel to establish my 35G, the tempt was getting to hot for coral it ran at 86F. My ex's fiance is going to turn it into a computer/tower/not sure, but should be nice.
