Thanks I am going to set my next one up like this: I did all the testing before and had amazing results, but will test again, to double check it's purity and lack of nitrate/phosphate and benefits of its nutrition. Price for a 2L should be around $15-$20 and I will be demonstrating it on my own reef tank for months before selling it to anyone. This way people know that it is pure, because my tank is a tap water tank with no chemical filtration, no skimmer and no refuge, 35G prop/display tank, all biological filtering relying on biology such as light, live rock, serpent stars, copepods, worms, coral, filter feeder's etc to do the filtering. If you add just the right amount at the right times, the phyto will stay in my system for an hour or so and feed the filter feeder's while eliminating phosphate and nitrate, then be totally consumed leaving the water crystal clear again. Also lets not forget that you can now add certain types of calonoid copepods to the system that comsume this type of phyto and swim around in the water column which in turn will mean that lps and sps that may not directly consume the phyto may then be consumed leaving your system in tip top shape Further more, phyto contains trace elements as well, trace elements get quickly used up if enough water changes are not used and/or if you do not dose them directly all the time. Wow that was a nice setup! Nice and clean, as well as functional! A well thought out setup!
I also used to have phyto setup. Just two bottles, since I only had a nano tank. Now I do not bother with it since I am not feeding as heavy!

Thanks, I needed to set it up like that because I have a cat, don't want the bottle spilling over. Next time I'm setting up 2 of them but different set up and with t5 h.o. 1 strain will be non motile and the other motile. Also the nannocloropsis Occulata was the non motile one which only goes with the flow then settles the other strain which I haven't cultured before will be motile and include (DHA) which the Nanno was missing to make it completely nutritional. Of course after that I need to culture a calanoid copepod which swims in the water column so I can feed it to my softies directly. So I will be feeding 2 strains of phyto to my softies and 1 strain of calanoid which will be enriched with the 2 srains of phyto. Just for fun. I hope that the corals will benefit from this which is the plan to grow them faster and hopefully make them more bigger and colourful. I hope the micro will be the new macro algae in the future on where if you dose the right amount, it will grow for a while, while consuming phosphate/nitrate ammonia etc while also replenishing the lost trace elements to the corals etc. Here an image of what other strains look like: Thinking of using my closet to grow them in because of the light's and me being in a large bachelors apt. Anyone know where I could get my hands on those container's?
