Hey everyone I starting this thread to see what everyone has picked up on our bus trip. I will adding my list tomorrow after I get some sleep. I know many picked up so many great fish plants and more. Was a perfect day with incredible deals and discounts that were to good not to take. Looking forward to see everyone's purchases.

I thought Anacharis was illegal to sell in Ontario?
I want to know how the trip went. We had a great meeting, but would have loved going on the bus trip.

My haul was very basic, with my shrimp and my tiger barbs. All of which have made it through the acclimation process, though we'll give the shrimp a week before I'm certain of it! I was tempted to grab the tigers from two places, but something held me back. At Finatics, I suppose I just wanted to see more stores before grabbing them right away... and at Menagerie, there wasn't a single barb there that didn't have shredded tails and fins. Finally, I found an incredibly healthy looking batch at Discount Dragon where I couldn't seem to find a single fin tear, and they easily had the best cost of the entire tour! Follow your gut, as they say! The greens and one of the albinos have made themselves right at home with the original tigers, but the second albino is being a bit shy for now. My short nose shrimps gave me a scare when I got home; I though for certain one had died and the rest had feasted, but it was simply a case of one molting along the way. Here's hoping the extra stress hasn't taken its toll on that one! All six are scooting around pretty good in the quarantine tank right now, anyway! I also scored some Cryptocoryne Spiralis on the bus auction, which I'm hoping will grow out nice and tall in my 75g! I'm not a fan of the Val that I have in there, and these should make a very attractive alternative.

Shrimp Fever6 Fork-tailed Blue Eye Watch out, these guys are jumpers. If the top of the tank is open, make sure the water level is 2 inches below the rim. I lost 2 out of the 6 I had.

I run sponge filters the opening is less than quarter inch! I guess you're safe then. I've got 1 male and 3 females left. Not really sure how big these guys need to get before they start breeding/courting. I guess the females only drop a couple eggs a day so the fry production on these fish are limited.
