The ponds were quite successful for me this year for both plants and endlers as both reproduced and propagated profusely. My white clouds and wild type platys did not seem to reproduce and the number of adults actually dropped a little for both from the originals placed in the ponds. Still one of my best years and I recently took both ponds down.

Well, for me it was quite a learning experience! I did the usual white clouds which did great! Have 50% increase in population! In addition I put out two kinds of Endler's, and I got enough fry to set up two more tanks!
However the biggest surprise of the summer was the CPD's! These little danios have been put out because they were not doing well in their tank! I was not hopeful for their survival at all! Basically I thought they are a lost cause! Put out 2 males and 3 females! Not only they survived but produced hundreds of fry! Unfortunately I lost a lot of fry due to the sudden cold weather! Still I brought in about 60 to 80 fish!
My plants did not do well at all, due to a bad hair algae outbreak!
