Hey guys,
I'm trying to find a fish tank for my Dad to put in his wall. He wants it to be 3 or 4ft high 2ft wide and 2ft deep... Very unusual dimensions...
Any ideas where I could find a tank like this?

Wow that is an odd size! There used to be a place in Detroit that did costume aquariums! I think it was called Great Lakes Aquariums. I dealt with them 8+ years ago! Not sure if they are still in business!

Yeesh, I'd hate to have to do substrate cleanup in a tank that tall!

You could get a Marineland 120 48x24x24 and a 90 gallon or a 1/2" 48x24 pain of class witch ever is cheaper and basically turn the 120 on its end! Would be a challenging DIY project but possible

Ah yes, I will be doing the maintenance so my Dad is not worried about cleaning the bottom! I've never build a tank and would surely mess something up and have water all over my dads basement.

Also have to take into account the water pressure. The higher you go the thicker the glass would need to be and at that height you are looking at 1.25" glass for the height of tank.

Checked a couple calculators and at either 3'-4' you are looking at 1"-1.25" for acrylic or glass
