Hello WAS members, forum members and fellow fish keepers. I have decided to post about myself here even thought many of you know me well. But there are also new faces who do not. Many of you will be wondering where I have been as 4 month to the day I have been missing in action. Well I had various personal issues that needed to be dealt with that I am not going to go into detail here. But rest assured I have returned and more than happy to do so. I have missed the club and all the great people that are part of it. For those of you who do not know me I am one of the founders of the Windsor Aquarium Society and was fully part of the club up until 4 month ago.
I started out in the hobby at 10 years old after following in the footsteps and learning from my grandfather who in my eyes is one of the best old school hobbyist I ever knew. He passed away in 2010 but everything he has taught me lives on forever and has been put to good use. So I have been in the hobby for 22 years now. I started out with one tank as many of you know is just never enough and over time I have gathered more tanks till I ran out of room. Recently I moved and now have more space but not the funds to expand as of yet.
I specialize in livebearers especially endlers and guppies but have a passion for all livebearers. I also love aquatic plants and aquascaping and have improved my skills over the years have created dozens of different aquascapes. I am very passionate and love this hobby and quite happy to make my return.

Welcome back Glen! Well, it seems that I'm not the only one who had an absence overhere for a while. Also I've been gone for a while and not just overhere. Health issues have bothered me a lot the past few months. My leukemia gave me some serious problems which send me to hospital for a while. And ever since this January I'm dealing with another kind of cancer which was discovered a bit late. The stage was that serious that I had surgery already the next day after I had my examinations at the hospital. And even after the surgery it turned out that I still have some metastases. So, I'm having chemo and radiation at this point.
So, I'm on a leave from work right now trying to get my act together. It does give me more time to spend more time on my fishroom these days. And also to regain my internet activities.

Always good to hear from you
