This is a strain I am working on. They can drop grey bodied fish occasionally and working on breeding that out as well as working on overall improvements. The color is great with the half gold half sky blue color of the males and gold bodied females with a hint of blue color in there fins. The fish here are 4 months old.

Glen , these are good looking fish . Still see a bit of gold in the tail so more work to do . Off to a great start . Are you going to try for a blue dorsal fin ? What did the fish you started with look like ?

What did the fish you started with look like ? I certainly have further work to do but I am happy with them so far. And yes I would like to try for a blue dorsal fin. These have been fun to work with and they started with more gold in the tail and the blue color was not as solid as it is now. There most recent fry drop 2 days ago had all gold fry and I was very happy about that.

Really nice looking guppies, Glen... I also had some males (blonde and grey based) ones which looked a bit like yours. They were created by accident overhere. I had put a juvenile blonde female vienna emerald bottomsword accidentally in a cup with a male blonde blue star endler. Thought I had put her in the right cup. I had put some guppies and endlers in some cups before they were put in a bag for shipment. It took me about 40 minutes before I relaized that one of those females was put in the wrong cup. To ensure that the customer would have the correct female, I got het out of there. And put her in a seperate smaller tank. For I wasn't sure if the wrong male has done his job. Well, she became pregnant and she delivered some grey and mostly blonde offsring. Luckely, those fry grew up pretty fast. And those males turned out having doubleswords with a blue covered body. But reaching almost adulthood, they got yellow in their tails as well. I've decided to sell the actual female and all of her offspring to someone who saw potential in them. I didn't keep them because I didn't wanna expand the number of tanks overhere. But they were quit nice to look at.

I hope the person that took them makes a new and beautiful strain of fish from them.
