Thanx all! Thorn there is agression in the tank from time to time. I currently have 4.blood parrots,2 hap44 ,1 male1female kribensis,1firemouth.1 kenyi. I have a rocscape as well as silk plants, having africans is hard to hold live plants because they usually will.eat them. If you have enough hiding spots its ok my haps will lip lock.from.time.to time but its quick.and over very quickly. I also will add dithers to the tank big enough so the dont get eaten ....learned that lesson already lol

I should also imterject by saying that i have mixed south americans and africans before key things to remember is size if they are all roughly the same size there is less agression ive never had to take fish out or separate them none of my fish have died do to aggression if one is ill i will move it out of the tank in that case .only time i ever got rid of a fish was my aeratus it was way to agressive for the tank but it wad my fault.for not researching its temperment before i add any fish i ask questions and research the ones im interested in
