Yup!😨 Damn Steve a little more water and you have fish everywhere. All seems well today I'm seeing adult fish and some juveniles where they were before the storm. It's funny I sat on the back steps after I took the pics and thought to myself wow my backyard kinda reminds me of a picture I seen of shallow ponds around Hopong Myanmar where the CPD'S come from. LoL.

You have a CPD biotope in your own backyard.

Well finally I decided to take down all my "ponds"! Damn it got cold, I was trying to get the fish out and could not stand the water longer than half an hour! Two days ago it was like a hot tub and today is freezing cold!
So the last of the ponds to be taken down is the 35 gal. mixed endler's pond! In the half hour I could catch around a hundred or so fish, and around 50-80 tiny fry. I had no idea there was that many fish in there! Now this pond only got water change when it rained, and the fish got fed once a week, a pinch of flakes! The rest of the time they fed on insect larvae and whatever grew in the pond! This consisted of a lot of algae! I pulled out at least a pound of hair, string, and slime algae before I could see any fish! The water is quite tannin stained, probably from all the leaf litter fallen in there over the summer. Also there is an inch or so mulm in the bottom of the pond! Again I assume it is fish waste along with old plant matter! It is going to be fun catching the last of the fish hiding in there!
