I've had an idea concerning the photo contest winners. An additional incentive to submit your pictures, if you may.
I'd like to make the winning photos be the cover photo for the Windsor Aquarium Society's Facebook page for a month after winning. This way, the Facebook page gets an updated look every so often, your photo gets to be viewed by more eyes, and more people may be drawn from the Facebook page to enter into the contest.
There are several ways we could do this, and I want your opinions - please vote in the poll for how to choose which of the two photo contest winners will be displayed.
- Prioritize tank of the month; the scenery and aquascaping of our hobbyists
- Prioritize fish of the month; show off our best and brightest specimens
- Choose from whichever winner has a higher vote count for the month
- Display both winners, for half of the month each
This is, of course, assuming both contests have run for the month; otherwise, the whole month will default to the only winner.
Thoughts?
