Moved the 180 bowfront into the recroom. no more cichlids going all community/schooling fish and live plants. tank is still a bit cloudy, sand settling and a bit of tannins leeching. Any thoughts on best way to remove tannins? Also anyone that has plants for sale, donate or trade please let me know. lastly...with or without centre rock? Have more of the same kid but thought they really didnt fit with other rocks in the tank.

Got any activated carbon in your filter? It should suck the tannin out completely. Otherwise, water changes are your friend.
I'm personally not a fan of the rock in the center! I think once your banks are lush with greenery, the tank is gonna look top notch with the open beach of sand in the center like that.

I am with Xander! Shoaling fish will enjoy the room in the centre!
