Hello everyone! I need someone to witness the awesome flower my Cryptocorine Wendtii “petite bronze” surprised me with! Originally I thought it was another leaf growing, maybe it is going to grow tall like Les said his did. But no!!! Look at this... the pictures are during a water change so that is why I got a photo of the flower above water!!!!

The flower structure and colour is not wendtii. I was thinking of the same thing, however that is what I bought it as. I had wendtii green, and wendtii green gecko flower as well, and they were almost identical flowers. This is nothing, like them. I will try for a better picture tomorrow, no promises thought!

Actually it looks like Crypocorine Affinis flower to me!

I will try for a better picture tomorrow, no promises thought! Awesome Gabe. Flower size, colour, flag twist, length and collar colour are really the only way to identify species of crypt. As you can see already this one is different even thought the leaves are very similar to wendtii. I believe the species to be affinis.
