Nice startup!
How long were you cycling the tank before you added fish in it?
Also I would suggest to get a refractometer since the swing arm hygrometers are notoriously inaccurate!

Thanks gabe. the tank has been cycling for a couple weeks before I added the first 3 fish. Added Chromis being that they are a hardy fish and will assist with the cycling process. I plan on getting my fish ONLY from Gill at Aqua Animania or other hobbyists. I also plan on getting a refractometer as I have heard so many times its the best way to test water. I am also looking for a test kit or strips. Put a fair amount of money into this tank so far so hoping to find a hobbyist willing to part with extra stuff on a pay it forward premise or cheap.
I now have the 2 tanks I've always wanted....Planted nano fish tank(180 gallon bowfront) and saltwater (90 gallon)

I have a salifert ph test kit you can have cheap. Possibly could work something out for an alkalinity test kit too. Have you given much thought as to what you want to keep coral or fish wise. I just started my own 90 gal mixed reef tank.

I just started my own 90 gal mixed reef tank. Hi Crash, a ph test kit and alkalinity kit would be fantastic! How much are you talking when you say cheap? Money is pretty tight right now but hope we can work something out. are you on Facebook? I can add you and we can work something out there. I'm not planning on anything crazy as of yet. Just the basics for fish right now...IE: Clowns, tangs, goby and for corals I think I'm gonna stick with softies as I really like the way they flow in the current. Send me your facebook info and I'll add you. Thanks buddy.
