So our first place biotope now has a permanent home and can retire from there weekend of fame. Everything from our biotope tank from the substrate, plants, sticks, leaves, invertebrates, crayfish, tadpoles, and fish are now living together here. Will update periodically and half the plants are marginal plants and will be growing above the water line as the reed grass already is.

Just a quick update both the central mud minnows and brook stickleback are doing very well in there pond. I pulled some out and inspected them in a specimen container today. I just may have to set up a native fish biotope tank as I have become fascinated with these interesting native fish.

Absolutely I could not agree more.
