So last month at the meeting I picked up a 28 gal. tank that Jason brought in to the auction. At the time I was not sure if itโs going to fit in the space I had available. Well long story short, it didnโt! I had to make some adjustments to my rack. The available space Always water test! The construction, well demolition on the way! Final product! And finally the tank set up! Need to cycle the tank, well I used some of the old substrate, washed out two sponge filter in the tank. So that should not take long. After that I got to transfer all the shells and the cloud of fry! ๐ Yes all the white dots are fry!

Looking good for sure. And there is always room for a bigger tank.

Looks Great !!! Nice shelly tank. What fish will you stock in this tank? I see Multifasciatus, will have any other species with them?

Nice tank indeed. Those Shellies as they mature will start to aquascape the substrate to their own liking. I had a small group that dug all the way down to the bottom of the aquarium and placed all their shells in the pit. They are interesting fish to watch.
Never keep a similar species in with them, as they will easily hybridize.
