Anyone here got any Blue German Rams? Mine just laid some eggs, and I was wondering should I pull them or leave them be! The female is guarding them and seems to do a good job fanning them as well! The only other fish in the tank is some dwarf corydoras.

I always give the parents a chance to do the right thing . That said most times they eat the first spawn or two . So it’s really up to you . Another thing to think about is can you keep your nose away from the glass lol . Seems like an easy thing to do but usually is very hard to stay away .
Awesome and my figures are crossed for you .....

Hey Gabe , did you up the temperature in the tank to get them to spawn ? No I did not, by the way they eat the eggs. Hopefully they lay more eggs and get it right . Every video I watch the temps are in the upper 80’s . That could be a factor .

That could be, I’ll increase the temperature gradually and see what happens.

I used to keep GBRs but I couldn't figure out why they sucked so bad at mating. They would start as a great pair, taking turns guarding and fanning eggs. Then one morning you wake up one of them won't let the other near the eggs. Its almost as one figures out the eggs are no good and wants to eat them and the other wants to keep guarding them. So they get divorced, the male goes into depression after the divorce due to getting screwed by the lawyers and dies of stress. The female then dies of lonliness. Its sad
