Here’s what I hope will be a fun little exercise . What community type fish have you never owed . Not looking for things like Arowana’s and such but more the common types you would put in a community tank . I’ll start this off . I can’t believe I have never bought a Cardinal tetra in all the time I’ve kept fish . Simply amazing fish but for some unknown reason I have never kept them .
Which fish a eluded you ?

A bit of an odd ball but one that I have seen in stores, even in our local ones, would be the elephant nose fish Gnathonemus petersii
I've always wanted but I never have kept them

They had a beautiful specimen when we were there .

I have always wanted to keep sailfin Molly's but never had a tank suitable for them.

as i really don't care for most of the fish other than cichlids... Haven't had an oscar but that will soon change.

That's a hard question Les!!! You are going to make me think about it? I don't think that I have ever kept giant danios. Would have liked to but they never seemed to have the right look, mostly pond bred mixes from Florida is what you see in stores.
